久しぶりにナゴヤ球場のでウエスタン・リーグ、カープ戦に来ました。和田選手は５番レフトでスタメン出場、谷選手はマルチ安打、６回途中から、そしてイニングをまたいで７回も登板した岸本投手が無失点に抑えます。８回に登板のルーキー山本雅投手が自らのエラーで無死満塁のピンチを作ってしまいますが、ライトフライ、１２３の併殺で３アウト！！無失点で切り抜けます。しかし、残念ながら試合は１−５で敗戦に。
